Faye Nell Edmondson Jordan, 84 of Arab passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her residence. Faye was born September 15, 1938 in Dekalb County the daughter of Romie Odell Stephens and Bessie Irene Jones Stephens. She was a member of Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church. She was married to Hershel Edmondson until his passing in November 1977. In September 1979 she married Herbert Earl Jordan and was married 37 years at the time of his passing, June 9, 2017. She was also preceded in death by parents: Romie and Irene Stephens and a brother: Jimmy Stephens.
She is survived by her children: Deborah Lewis, Marsha Tidmore (Johnny), Keith Edmondson (Diane) and Dennis Edmondson; stepchildren: Tammy Clack (Aaron), Sherri Mims (Michael) and Michael Jordan (Tanya); seven grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren; sisters: Kay Mier and Ann Hawkins, a brother: Terry Stephens (Sharon).
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Matt Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Cory Mills, David Lewis, Adam Lewis, Bryan Edmondson, Jeremy Edmondson and Adam Thrower.
