Ms. Deborah Whisenant McQueeney, age 62, of the Morgan City community, Morgan County, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville. She was born in Madison County, Alabama on October 21, 1960 to James Isaac Morgan and Mary Russell Dean Morgan. She was married to Ricky Whisenant (DOD 9-27-1993). Deborah has been a part of the Morgan City community for over 45 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Deborah worked and retired from Chrysler as a Tech 2.
Deborah had a variety of interest. Her leisure time not only involved her family but including gardening, growing flowers, crocheting, cross-stitching, online shopping and soap operas.
Family members left to cherish memories of Deborah include her daughter, Tiffany McAnally (Benjie); grandchildren, Caitlin Bing, Faith McAnally and Chandler Bing; Great-grandchild, Zaidyn McAnally; brother, Doug Morgan (Pam); sisters, Laura Bolton (Randy) and Sandra Parrish.
Preceding Deborah in death include her husband, Ricky Whisenant; parents, James and Mary Morgan; and brother, Danny Morgan.
The family will receive friends and extended family at a visitation service on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Jason Bomar will officiate. Interment will be in the Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan County, Alabama.
Pallbearers escorting Deborah to her final resting place will be David Whisenant, Tim Whisenant, Dustin Parker, Devin Perkins, Brad Black, Hufton Decker and Lyndon Decker.
