Lorraine Jean Carter, 68 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at her residence. Ms. Carter was born on October 4th, 1954, in Wayne County, Michigan, to Orville and Charlotte Parham Carter.
Ms. Carter is survived by her children Timberly Carter of Athens, Lonnie Carter (Amber Tidwell) of Athens, and Dallas Carter Quarrels of Reese, Michigan; grandchildren Floyd, Dylan, Laila, Lonnie, Lily, Harper, Stormy, and Destiny; great-grandchildren Sara, Saphira, and Matthew; and sister Linda Summers of Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Rosemary Summers; and brother Kenny Carter.
Ms. Carter dearly loved her animals.
