Bill Kent Kennedy, 82, died December 17, 2022, at home in Huntsville. He was born November 26, 1940, in Hodges, AL, to Hubert and Kate (Davis) Kennedy. He married Barbara Sanders on October 6, 1973, in Huntsville. Bill graduated from Auburn University in 1969. He founded Oxford Properties, Inc. in 1973.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kennedy; children, Bryan Kennedy and wife, Catherine Reuther, Felecia Kennedy, and Elizabeth Lawlor and husband, James; grandchildren, Collin Lawlor, William Lawlor, and Thomas Lawlor; sister, Peggy Clark; and son-in-heart, Bill Douglas; and daughter-in-heart, Becky Sanders.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 22nd at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
