Funeral Services for Robert Donald “Donny” Camp, age 72 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Pine Grove Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Billy Taylor and Bro. Sonny McCollum officiating. He will be buried with military honors at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Camp passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. He was born in Alabama and was a life-long resident of Clay County, AL. He graduated Lineville High School. He joined the United States Army as a ranger, and served in Vietnam. When he was out of the military he worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed the spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He also had a great love for his furbabies: Liz, Abbie, Max, Jill, GiGi, and most of all Spice.
Mr. Camp is survived by his spouse, Cathy McCollum Camp of Lineville; his sons, Scott Brand (Caitlin) of Roanoke, Adam Brand of Lineville, and Bailey Camp of Lineville; a stepdaughter Dawn Sudberry of Ranburne; two grandchildren: Logan Camp and Brelynn Brand; two sisters: Janice Camp Powell (Coy) of Goldville and Sue Camp Morrison of Lineville.
Mr. Camp was preceded in death by parents, Lenward Huell and Mary Louise Hunt Camp, and one son, Brandon Camp.
Active Pallbearers will be Adam Brand, Logan Camp, Bailey Camp, Butch Fuller, Ray Wiggins, and Pete Bradbury.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Flowers, Mickey Flowers, Johnny Denson, Winford McDonald, and Jimmy Hunt.
His visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Pine Grove Baptist Church from 9:30 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M.
