Funeral services for Mr. Billy Wayne Sprayberry, age 84 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Concord Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Kytan and Bro. Buford Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Sprayberry passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Alabama, and had lived in Clay County all of his life. He worked in commercial construction and retired from Hale Building. During that time he also served in the National Guard. Billy enjoyed listening to NASCAR on the radio back in the day, was also a member of Concord Baptist Church and tried to read his Bible every day.
Mr. Sprayberry is survived by his daughter, Debra Benefield of Lineville; his son Keith Sprayberry (Kathy) of Lineville; two sisters, Eva Lynn Vinson of Lineville and Catherine Bright (Paul) of Lineville; one brother, Mac Sprayberry of Munford.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancey Ann Sprayberry, and Leon Sprayberry.
Active pallbearers are Steve Cotton, Brandon Knight, Steve Knight, Greg Sprayberry, Cody Sprayberry, Perry Lackey, and Micheal Koutsantanou.
His visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 12:30-2:00 P.M at the church.
