Nettie Ozy Drummond Johnsey of Curry passed away December 6, 2022 peacefully at home at the age of 96.
A celebration of life will be held at Collins-Burke Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. J.D. Dickerson will officiate.
She was born on March 10, 1926 and lived in Curry her entire life. She was a very humble and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her top priority, she always put them first. Her joy was always doing for others.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 70 years-Clyde Wilburn Johnsey; Father-Alfred David Drummond; Mother-Amanda Angeline Rushing Drummond and Nettie Mae Key Drummond; Sisters-Gracie Jane Drummond Estes, Hattie Estella Drummond, Violet Ella Dean Drummond Stough, Drusilla Drummond Barret, Alma Mildred Drummond Farley Allen and Opal Key Johnson; Brothers-Cartis Thomas Drummond, Eliga Daily Drummond, Lester Carson Drummond, Starling Chestey Drummond, Edsel James Drummond, J.L. (Joe Landon) Drummond, Leon Key and Junior Wash Key.
She is survived by her Daughter-Glenda Johnsey Wilson (Wayne); Son-Phillip Clyde Johnsey (Regena); Grandchildren-Chad Brandon Wilson, Haley Wilson Moore (Stephen), Mandy Johnsey Brown (Scott) and Jared Phillip Johnsey (Jessica) all of Curry; Great Grandchildren-Hunter Lee Wilson, John Andrew Wilson, Ava Reese Brown, Adyson Scott Brown, William Owen (Liam) Moore, Ryley Katherine Moore, Kinley Elise Moore, Willow Kate Johnsey and Fletcher Jared Johnsey; Sister-Doris Jean Drummond Dickerson (Erschel); Sister-in-law-Brenda Johnsey Butler.
