Ida Anglow Forester – Obituary

IdaIda Anglow Forester, age 90 of Haleyville, entered into rest on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Hendrix Health Care surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 4, 1922. Ida attended school in Delmar and loved animals.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 6-9pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2pm. Brother Jeremy Lane will officiate. Burial will follow in Botush Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Forester is survived by her sons, Donald Lane, Jimmy Lane; daughter, Flois Bates; sisters, Cora Morgan, Cindy Henson; special friends Phillip (Mary) Taylor. Ida was “Granny” to 5 grandchildren, Keith Bates, Brian Bates, Chris Lane, Jason Lane, and Jeremy Lane. She was “Granny Ida” to 11 great grandchildren, Jasmine Bates, Josef Bates, Dakota Bates, Nathan Bates, Jayson Bates, Dylan Lane, Alexis Lane, Mason Lane, Thomas Baker, Mia Lane, and Makayla Lane.

She was preceded in death by her son, Leroy Lane; grandson, Billy Lane; parents, Loyd and Dosia Henderson; brothers, Andrew Henderson, Ernest Henderson, James Henderson; sister, Ruby Huggins; daughter in laws, Lettie Lane and Renee Lane.
