Lucille Norwood, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Parker Marks; her mother, Vester Lee Wilburn Clark; her husband, William Ira “Billy” Norwood; one sister, Myrtle Alvarez; and two brothers, Oscar Marks and Odell Marks.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita Norwood of Murfreesboro, TN and Carol Norwood of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, William Norwood (Nancy) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one granddaughter, Christy Killen (Roger) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one grandson, Ken Norwood (Amy) of Leoma, TN; four great-grandchildren, Liz Norwood, Kendra Norwood, Kinley Killen, and Braise Killen; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her fur baby, Pumpkin.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2022, with Mickey Brackin officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church.
