Thomas Edward Vinson, 81, of Corinth, MS passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022 at his home. Born November 2, 1940 in Athens, Alabama, Thomas was the retired business owner of 72 Wholesale Florist . He loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, bring outdoors, working in his flowers and gardening. No services are scheduled at this time. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Jodi Whitt and husband Byran; son, Eric Vinson and Joyce; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Sammet (Dickie), Dillion Vinson, Donna Mae Shappell (Corey), Erika Vinson, Sterling Vinson, Ethan Whitt (Jessica) and Joshua Vinson; great grandchildren, Camden Whitt, Carter Sammet, Madalynn Sammet and Mason Sammet; brother, Bonnie Vinson (Johanne); sister, Betty Dubois, Frances “Pud” Reeder, and Dezzie Vinson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Chris Vinson; father, Benton Vinson; mother, Mary Vinson; brothers, Howard Vinson, Redus Vinson and Allen Vinson and his sisters, Beatrice Ferline, Alice Jean Wilson, Marjorie Faye Free, Mattie Floy Smith, Gladys Jarrett and Dorothy “Dot” Lewis.
