A funeral service for Lucille Hall Moore, age 85, 0f Lineville will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland, with Bro Noel Vickers officiating.
Mrs. Moore passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Goodwater HealthCare Center. She was born in Alabama and a resident of Clay County most of her life. She worked for Goodwater HealthCare Center for over 40 years, serving as a CNA, activities director and beautician. Mrs. Moore was a member of West End Baptist Church in Alex City and enjoyed gardening and her little dog “Buddy”.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Autrey(Keith) of Goodwater, Charles Moore, Jr(Wanda) of Goodwater and Nathan Moore(Sara) of Lineville; grandchildren, Victor Autrey, Jr(Amanda), Valerie Arnold, Clay Moore(Brandy), Paige Williams(Jacob), Cody Moore(Rebecca), Kelsey Baker and Aiden Baker; great-grandchildren, Brook, Alyssa, Carson, Carter, Ian, Heavenly and Everlyn Lou; and a large extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Pearl Hall, father of her children, Rev. Charles E. Moore, siblings, Louise Hall(her twin), Lela Brown, Travis Brown and Luther Brown.
Pallbearers will be Victor Autrey, Jr, Cody Moore, Clay Moore, Jacob Williams and Aiden Baker.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of Goodwater HealthCare Center and of Southern Care Hospice.
Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland is in charge of the Arrangements.
