Debra Francis Shelton, age 66 of Ashland, passed away at Brookwood Medical Center on July 1, 2022.
Mrs. Shelton was born in Indiana and graduated from William A. Wirt High School, attended collage for two years. She worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hobart Indiana, and also in pre-need sales for a funeral service and cemetery company in Valparaiso Indiana, and has lived in Clay County for several years.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Shelton of Ashland her grandchild, Arwen Shelton, step grandchildren, Tristan and Jude, her parents, Sanford and Mildred Suggs of Ashland, her sister, Vickie Shearon of Ashland, 3 nephews, and 5 great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Danny Shelton.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
