Funeral services for Mr. Mike Karnes, age 77, will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Greenfield, TN. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until service time on Tuesday.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM until service time on Tuesday.Mr. Karnes, a retired Engineer for Bryan Plastics, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Karnes was preceded in death by his mother, Madalene Moog; father, Adam Karnes; two step sisters, Judy Geiger and Susan Hoops; and two step brothers, Dennis Moog and David Moog.
Mr. Karnes is survived by his wife, Phyllis June Karnes of Trenton, TN; three children, Tonya Cermak of Newbern, TN, Corina Shaffer of Ohio, and Toby Karnes of Ohio; three step children, Deborah Burke of Greenfield, TN, Keithel Burke of Greenfield, TN, and Rickey Reynolds of Milan, TN; three sisters, Marsha Klear of Ohio, Debby Fivecoat of Ohio, and Deanna Tillman of Michigan; a step brother, Tracy Moog of Ohio; a step sister, Karen Robinson of Ohio; and he was blessed with many grandchildren, great greet grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
