Robert P. Boydston,Sr., of Madison, Alabama, passed away on May 25, 2022.
Robert was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 9, 1944, to Burr Boydston and Gladys O’Sullivan Boydston.
Robert was a very driven and creative man. He excelled in his profession as an electronics engineer. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchild with all of his heart. Any free time Robert had was most often filled with grandchildren, fishing, or flying his RC airplanes. He was one of a kind who will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Louise Boydston, his children, Robert “Bob” Boydston (Gail) and Brenda Boydston Melvin (Craig), his grandchildren Chrissy Foster Chronister (Keith), and Ian Boydston, and one great grandchild, Cooper Chronister.
Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory will host a friends and family visitation on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, with a funeral service, immediately following at 4:00 PM. Pastor Tom Alexander will officiate.
