Carolyn Blanton Spearman, 91, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, April 13. Carolyn was born and raised in Red Bay, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryson Eugene Spearman, her brother, William Oather Bullen Jr., and her parents.

Carolyn and Bryson moved to Huntsville in 1960 for his job with W.L. Halsey Grocery Company. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She was a member of Huntsville First United Methodist Church. Carolyn enjoyed golf, shopping, and friends.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Joseph Bryson Spearman (Eliza); grandchildren, Carolanne, Betsy, and Bryson; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Bullen. The family is very appreciative of the care she received from Inisclee Hale and her staff.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 18th at First United Methodist Church, followed by the service at 1. Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family Ministries Fund at Huntsville First United Methodist Church.
