Eleanor Louise Schmidt, 85 of Huntsville, passed away on April 5, 2022.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Franklin; son, Stanley Schmidt (Amy); three grandchildren, Christopher Franklin (Amy), Kelli Hill (Matt), Lauren Beasley (Trevor); eight great-grandchildren, Audrie, Henry, Madelyn, Waylon, Brody, Isaac, Penelope, and Blakely; brother-in-law, Donald Ramey; sister-in-law, Bernadine Blakely; two brothers, Jim Lamb (Pat) and Tom Lamb (Chris).
Mrs. Schmidt was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilfred John Schmidt; parents, Howard and Neida Lamb; sister, Emily Ramey; brother-in-law, Jim Blakey.
Eleanor was a native of Huntsville. She graduated from Butler High School, grew up in the Lincoln Village community, and was a life long member of Lincoln Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and sharing time with her loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, April 11, 2022 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Services will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Ron Williams and Colin McKee officiating.
