Jackie Wayne Poole, 77, died Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, MS. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS and worked as a stone mason. He was a member of Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS.
Services will be Sunday, April 3, 2 p.m. at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS with Bro. Hal Holt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years – Mable Poole; three children – Melissa Adams (Mike Smith), Phillip Poole (Gelendia) and Deirdra Ramer (Jeffery); seven grandchildren – Danielle Knecht (Jason), Jay Poole (Ariel), Chance Poole, Payton Smith, April Bond, Dixie Bond and Erica Ramer; four great-grandchildren – Makenzie Knecht, Ian Poole, James Robert Knecht and Abbygail Poole; one brother – Jimmy Poole (Norma) and several nieces, nephews and family friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Alfred “Jack” and Elizabeth Evelyn Gattis Poole and a sister, Ann Bearden.
Pallbearers will be Christopher King, Ian Poole, Chance Poole, Jay Poole, Jeffery Ramer, Mike Smith, James Knecht and Jason Knecht. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Lovelace, Dennis “Dink” Durham and Kenny Gattis.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church and continue until service time on Sunday.
