Mr. James Dennis Burgess, age 62 of Albertville, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Albertville First Baptist Church, with Brother Chris Johnson, Brother Lynn Darnell, and Brother Denny McClendon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till the time of service.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Burgess; brother Johnny Burgess (Myra); sisters Bonnie Lacy (Edward), and Betty Pearce; sister-in-law Brenda Womack (Ray); God children Amanda Sellars, Whitney Richards, and Stephen McClendon; several nieces and nephews; and his special Aunt Elizabeth “Sissy” Burgess.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Olga Burgess; and sister Johnnie Kay Burgess.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to his funeral expenses.
