Corrine Gayle Baker Boylen, 86, passed away at home following an extended illness with family at her side on Tuesday March 29, 2022.
She was born March 22, 1936, in Huntsville, Alabama where she attended West Huntsville and 5th Avenue grammar schools, and Monrovia High School graduating in 1954. Following high school graduation, she was immediately employed at Redstone Arsenal where she worked for over 40 years in a variety of clerical and administrative positions. She retired as Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Director of Marshall Space Flight Center in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Boylen, and parents, Holland Baker and Myrtle Anderson Baker. She is survived by her twin brother, Dale Baker; two daughters, Kathleen Del Donna (Frankie) and Alison Boylen; three grandchildren, Amanda Price (Brandon), Patrick Couch, and Melissa Boylen; and three great-grandchildren, Rylee, Bella, and Lucy Price.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, April 2nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral home, 2320 Bob Wallace Avenue SW, Huntsville, for visitation. The funeral service will follow immediately conducted by Ross Jaeger. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens where she will join her husband, Pat Boylen, and mother, Myrtle Baker Kulick.
