David DeMonia, a native of Cullman Alabama passed away suddenly from an unexpected heart attack at his residence in Henagar, AL March 13, 2022, at the age of 70. David was born Oct 6, 1951, in Cullman, AL.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and LaBelle DeMonia; brother, Ray DeMonia and his grandmother, Lucy S Wilhite. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie DeMonia; Jillian DeMonia Russell his only grandchild; sister, Denise DeMonia, Huntsville, AL; niece, Raven DeMonia, Raleigh, NC; great nephew, Liam; sister-in law, Pat DeMonia, Cullman, AL; and a host of cousins, friends and extended family members.
David was the son of Clifford and LaBelle DeMonia from Vinemont, AL and worked in the family business “DeMonia’ s Antiques” for 30+ years and continued to work with Antiques in Collierville, TN until he retired. David was a graduate of Vinemont High School and served in the US Air Force and the Air Guard and was honorably discharged.
David was loved by many. He was a loving brother and well respected by his antique dealer colleagues. He loved to fish and spend time with his sister and Grace, her Mini Dachshund. He will be missed by many.
There will be a celebration of life scheduled at a later date.
