Mr. Joseph Oakley Rogers age 81 of Hartselle died Saturday February 8, 2013. There will be a Graveside Service Sunday February 10, 2013 at Hartselle Memory Gardens at 11:00am with Charles Boling and Rudy Guess officiating, there will be no visitation. Peck Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Rogers was born September 21, 1931 to William Reed Rogers Sr. and Wilby Margaret(Billie) Rogers- Moore. He is survived by his wife Jo Ann Rogers of Hartselle, Al. 1 Son: Joseph M. Rogers of Decatur, Al. 3 Step Daughters: Melissa Shryock (RonofFalkville, Melinda Hardin (Craig) of Falkville, Al. Melanie Wood (Michael) of Florida A Niece Joan Renneker Morgan Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wesley Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church of Decatur. He was a loving husband and father. He was a Lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Decatur, a U.S. Army Korean war veteran. He also retired from the U.S. Army Missile Command Redstone Arsenal and a Graduate of Auburn University.
