Norma White Crowson passed away February 26, 2022, at the age of 79, after a years-long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2022, 1-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow in the chapel. Burial will be at Civitan Cemetery in Rogersville.
The 1961 Valedictorian of Lauderdale County High School, Norma went on to graduate Troy State University and became a respected Registered Nurse and nursing manager.
Norma was a fiercely devoted and loving wife for 58 years; a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She never hesitated to help anyone in need, whether family, friend, patient, or stranger. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband David, her daughter Jennifer, and her grandson Silas. Her brother Gary followed shortly after. She leaves behind children Bryan (Suzanne), Jeremy (Kandice); grandchildren Matthew, Evan, Claire, and Juliette; sisters Janie and Kay, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
