Alabama Legislature on Tuesday, February 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Old House Chamber of the State Capitol.
Senator Tammy Irons- Florence (D) has been chosen by her colleagues to present the official Democrat response to Governor Robert Bentley’s State of the State Address. The purpose of the response is to offer the Alabama Democratic Caucus’s views for the upcoming 2013 legislative session.

Irons said, “It is an honor and privilege to present the Democratic response to Governor Bentley’s State of State address. I am proud to call Alabama home and I am proud to be an Alabama Democrat. I am also looking forward to a productive legislative session and hope to see both parties work together for the common good of Alabamians.
The 2013 Regular Session of the Alabama Legislature will convene at noon, Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Governor Bentley will present his State of the State address Tuesday night. The Democratic response, presented by Irons, will be aired statewide on Alabama Public Television following Bentley’s address.
