Eddy Jean Hamrick, of Muscle Shoals, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, from 9-11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Dorian Flynn officiating. A private committal service will be in Winston Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hamrick was a native of Tishomingo, Miss. and was a member of Tuscumbia Church of Christ. She went on several mission trips to St. Kitts, Antigua, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, South Africa and Guyana serving both medical and spiritual needs. She was preceded in death by her husband, George David Hamrick Jr.; and son, George David Hamrick III.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheri Flynn (Dorian); brother, Jack Epperson; grandchildren, Christie Corsby (Patrick), Laura Tapia (Andres), Lee Flynn (Bridgett), Landon Flynn (Roxanne); great-granddaughter, Emily Corsby; great-great-granddaughter, Callie Srygley; and special friend, Curtis Lindsey.
