The funeral Service for Charlotte Faye Bishop, 78, of Hanceville, will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 5:30 – 8pm. The interment will be at Good Hope Cemetery. Rev. Larry Brown will officiate the service.

Mrs. Bishop passed from this life January 8, 2022 at The Folsom Center. She was born October 27, 1943 to Homer Lee & Lena Bell Gossett Davenport. She loved spending time with family. She was a strong woman of faith who was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Lee & Lena Bell Gossett Davenport; her husband of 60 years, John T. Bishop; brothers, Lee Olen Davenport & James Conard Davenport; sister, Mary Francis Eady.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Cary) Gentry & Jennifer Roberts (Clint Waters); brother Jim (Chris) Davenport; sister, Annie Lou Waldrep; grandchildren, Carissa Michelle (Corey) Dell, Jesse Kayne Roberts, Jon Alexander Dell; great-grandchildren, Makaela Hope Gentry, Alexis Jade Dell, Christina Zachary Dell; and a host of family and friends.
