Katherine “Kathi” McElroy age 55, of Arab passed away Tues. Jan. 4, 2022, at Marshall Medical Center North. Kathi was born on Jan. 14, 1966, in Arab the Daughter of Garland Powell and Stella Bentley Powell. Kathi was a former employee at Marshall Medical Center North where she worked in the hospitality dept. She is survived by her Children: Dalton McElroy of Arab and Jennifer Crocker of Arab; Grandson: Eli Armstrong; Uncles and Aunts: Ronald and Linda Powell, Billy and Sharlene Bentley and Helen Hawkins; Host of Cousins, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father: Sonny Powell Mother: Stella Bentley; Sister: Lisa Ann Morgan, Brother: Michael O’Neal Powell; Nephew: Matthew Morgan; Uncles and Aunts: Cecil and Evelyn Hawkins, J.C. Hawkins, Grady Hawkins, Ella Mae and Jasper Calvert, Buddy and Faye Hawkins, Junior Hawkins, Billy and Charlene Hawkins and Bobby and Linda Hawkins. The family will receive friends on Friday Jan. 7, 2022, at Gober Funeral Chapel from 7-9 PM.
