uneral Service for Danny Louis Russell, age 64, of Bremen, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; interment in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Russell passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Cullman Regional. He was born January 17, 1957, to Louis and Millie Jo Russell.
Danny worked for Alabama Power as a maintenance mechanic for 30 plus years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his grandbabies more than anything. Mr. Russell was a huge Crimson Tide fan. He was a follower of Christ and a member of Daystar Church. Mr. Russell will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Dan and Josephine Butts; and father-in-law, Jimmy Tucker.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Russell; daughter, Ashley (Derek) Taylor; son, Seth (Alexis) Russell; daughter, Haley (Riley) Briscoe; grandchildren, Malaya Taylor, Makenna Taylor, Camdyn Taylor, Deklyn Taylor, Hartley Russell, Lexie Briscoe, Emma Briscoe, and Kadence Briscoe; sister, Vicki Walker; brother, Mike (Margie) Russell; sisters, Donna (Jimmy) Garrison and Lori Spates; brother, Doug (Lydia) Russell; mother-in-law, Ann Tucker; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
