JASPER-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Jasper that has taken the life of one person on Friday, November 19:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:13 a.m. Friday, November 19, has claimed the life of a Jasper woman.
Jenny Self, 48, was fatally injured when the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Self was transported to Walker Baptist Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by the hospital staff.
The crash occurred on Herman Road, approximately six miles north of Jasper. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
