Robert John Lenard, Sr. age 81 of Brentwood passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at his home in Winchester. He was born July 11, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Walter Joseph Lenard and Rita Versaw Lenard. He was the owner of Smith Bro’s Car Wash and had served in the National Guard. He enjoyed spending time at the lake fishing, going to car and boat shows, watching Fox news, taking trips to Florida and spending time with his family. Raised in the Catholic faith, he will be remembered as a dedicated, hard-working man who was devoted to his family and generous in so many ways. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Salardi and Rita Miller. He is survived by his children, Bobby (Kera) Lenard of Mt. Juliet, Michelle (Marty) Dennis of Chapel Hill and Johnny (Dee Dee) Lenard of Cain Ridge; brother, Walter Lenard of Nashville; grandchildren, Travis and Carter Lenard, Aaliyah Hunter, Willie (Kaitlyn) Dennis, Kelsey Dennis, Justin and Jeremy Lenard; great-grandchild, Declan Dennis; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday at Woodbine Hickory Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday, November 5, 2021 at Woodbine Hickory Chapel. Graveside services will be following at 2 pm at Winchester Memorial Park with Pastor Rob McKamey officiating.
