Funeral for James Terry, 73, of Decatur will be Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Westmeade Baptist Church, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Justin McAlpin officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Mr. Terry, who died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at his residence, was born, October 19, 1948. He was a member of and a deacon at Westmeade Baptist Church . He was preceded in death by his fathers – William Terry and C. H. Terry, mothers – Sarah Elizabeth Terry and Lillian Terry, brother – Ussery Terry

Son – Rodney (Mauda) Terry
Brothers – Richard (Gean) Terry, Bobby Lee (Charlie) Terry, Emmett (Key) Derick
Sisters – Louise Hale, Othel (Tim) Flannagin, Flora Jones, Melody Atchley
Grandchildren- Chelsea (Shane) Lucas, Barrett (Taylor) Terry, Ansley Terry
Great grandchildren – Austin McGee, Lauren Lucas
Pallbearers will be Tony Mullican, Andy Mullican, Matthew Hamilton, Harry Knop, Zane Brock, Louis Wallace.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class.
