DeNoyer age 84 of Murfreesboro, TN was called home to be with her Lord on August 19, 2021, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Dennis was born on March 19, 1938 in Ypsilanti, Michigan and Maureen was born on May 13, 1937 in McMinnville, TN. They were owner and operator of four restaurants over their career, and members of Franklin Road Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, TN.
Mr. and Mrs. DeNoyer were married for 61 years. They owned and operated restaurants together as a team for 36 years. They were known for their attentive customer service and making their customers feel welcomed. They were dedicated to the restaurant business because they enjoyed being around people. Mr. DeNoyer also held management positions in sales and in the hospitality industry.
Together, Mr. and Mrs. DeNoyer’s biggest accomplishment was being a dedicated father and mother to their children. They loved spending time with them. They instilled within them the importance of Christian values, hard work, and a strong work ethic. They will fondly be remembered by them for how well they loved and cared about them. Also, they enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren who were the joys of their lives. They will affectionately be remembered by them for their kind, loving spirit and grateful hearts.
Dennis had a friendly and optimistic spirit about him. He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face to greet those he would encounter. He was a compassionate man with a big heart as he was the caretaker for his wife, Maureen, over the past few years. He enjoyed local travel with his family that offered scenic views such as the mountains and waterfalls. Those majestic views of nature brought him peace and contentment. Also, he enjoyed classic cars and attending car shows with his son.
Maureen had the most nurturing and sincere spirit about her. She was always looking out for the needs of others and tried to assist when she could. She liked spending time knitting and doing crafts, she always had a craft project going on. She enjoyed gospel music and often had it playing in every room she was in. Also, singing gave her great joy and in her earlier years, she enjoyed singing solos in the church and being a member of the church choir.
