Gloria Templeton, 83 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, June 27th, 2021, at her residence. Ms. Templeton was born on August 24th, 1937, to Lester M. Hughes and Annie Jennings Hughes.
Ms. Templeton is survived by her daughter Dehone Toney; son Robert Micah Templeton; grandchildren Hoyt Toney (Amanda), Jay Adams, Stephen Toney, Ashley Toney Feemster (Scott), and Chrissy Coy-Russell (Reginald); great-grandchildren Brittany Davis, William Sanford, Benjamin Sanford, Andrew Toney, and Jaiden Priest.
Preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service for Ms. Templeton will be Friday, July 2nd, 2021, at 2:00pm at Roselawn Cemetery, with David Palmer officiating. Visitation will Friday from 12:30-1:30pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
