Brenda Sue Tennison, 63 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, June 19th, 2021, at Centennial Medical Center. Mrs. Tennison was born on November 17th, 1957, to James Pylant and Evelyn Smith Pylant.
Mrs. Tennison is survived by her husband, Andrew Joe Tennison; son Joe Edward Tennison; daughter Crystal Sue Tennison; grandchildren Haley Harris (Johnny), Joshua Brown (Hannah); T.J. Daniels, and Harley Daniels; great-grandchildren Jonathan Harris, Jessabelle Harris, and Caleb Brown; sisters Judy Gregory and Kathy King; brothers Dave Pylant and Kent Pylant; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother James Stanley Pylant; and sisters Barbara Boyd Wallace and Patricia Ann Brooks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tennison will be Thursday, June 24th, 2021 at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Joe Jones and Marshall Norman officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Myers Cemetery.
