Joanne Keller-Wolf, 63, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Ms. Keller-Wolf was born in Albuquerque, NM and grew up in Huntsville, AL, where she was an active community member. She graduated from Rice University with degrees in Art History and English Literature, and also attended Birmingham Southern College and San Francisco Art Institute. Joanne lived in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia for 25 years, where she raised her five amazing children. Throughout her life she traveled the world, and was also an avid dance instructor in her many communities.
She was predeceased by her parents, George Adam Keller III and Barbara Jayne Keller. Survivors include her children, Samantha (Erik), Tyler (Jenna), Kylie (Garrett), Slater (Asiye), and Marissa; her siblings, George Keller IV (Joyce), Barbara Daniels (Robert), Charles Keller, and David Keller (Betsy); and many nieces and nephew. She was a light, exuded love, and had a wonderfully infectious smile. She had a kind and loving spirit, and was cherished immensely by her friends and family.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 10th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service in Maple Hill Cemetery.
