Hal Gordon Teaven Hal Gordon Teaven, 86 of Athens Alabama, passed away on Friday, March 19th, 2021 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Teaven was born November 6th 1934 in Indianapolis Indiana to James Malcom Teaven and Maxine Goodwin.

Mr. Teaven is survived by his wife Elizabeth Jane Teaven; children, William Teaven (Phyllis) of Gasport New York, Marsha Murrell (Frank) of Newfane New York, Michael Teaven of Newfane New York, James Teaven (Tami) of Athens Alabama, Robert Teaven (Denise) of Athens Alabama, Patricia Columbo (Joseph) of Lockport New York and Wayne Teaven of Lyndonville New York. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Teaven was a veteran of the United States Airforce and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. His favorite pastime and passion was reading and we was also known as an avid storyteller. Everyone will miss his stories greatly. He also loved camping and traveling.

A gathering of the family and friends will take place on Saturday March 27, 2021 from 1pm – 4pm at the home of Robert and Denise Teaven, 205 Lindsay Lane South Athens Alabama. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the American Heart Association.

Services in New York will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
