Richard Ray Cherry, age 61 of Springfield, TN passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home. There will be no local services. Funeral Services will be held in Watonga, OK with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga. Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga will be in charge of those arrangements.
He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on September 11, 1959 to the late Richard Donald and Peggy Louise Henderson Cherry. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Bynum. He was a Steel Mill Worker at UNARCO and attended Springfield Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, Brad (Tessa) Cherry of Springfield, TN, Shane (Janet) Hood of Kingfisher, OK, Robbie (Summer) Lewis of Mustang, OK; daughters, Amanda Johnson of Murfreesboro, TN, Jennifer Ellis of Greenbrier, TN; sister, Sharon (Stephen) Reiber of Geary, OK and 7 grandchildren.
