Raymond Thomas “Frog” McLemore , 78 , of Ardmore , Alabama passed away January 20, 2021 at Hospice Family Care, Huntsville, Alabama . He was born on October 31, 1942 in Alabama to Otha M. McLemore and Ruby Dee Holland McLemore . He was a Vietnam Veteran and an Auburn Football fan. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, and watching her play softball and volleyball.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Linda Jones McLemore; daughters, Sydney Hall , Lindsey Hall , Valarie (Jody) Hall; brother, Ricky (Sharon) Hobbs; sister, Shell Beddingfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy McLemore , Howard McLemore , Tommy McLemore , Morris McLemore , James McLemore , Roy McLemore, Gerald Wayne McLemore, and Anthony “Amp” Hobbs ; sisters, Joyce Bryant , Jo Frances Hobbs, and Marie Diller; and brother-in-law, Eugene “Penny” Hobbs.
A Graveside service will be at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama with Jerry Knight, Harold Wales, and Jerry McCown officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Cooper, Dustin Dillon, Chad Hobbs, Jerry McCowan, Jim Mullins, Jerry Knight, Sonny Johnson, and Grant Wales.
