Charles W. “Chuck” Higginbotham , 60 , of Ardmore , Alabama passed away January 21, 2021. He came into the world on March 29, 1960, son of Charles M. “Bunk” Higginbotham and Martha Nell Ferguson Higginbotham.
Chuck loved being with family and spoiling his “grands”, being at the farm and spending time with friends. He taught kids and grandkids how to drive a racecar, truck, and tractor; how to cut donuts on sport utv’s; how to shoot; and many more fun things…… a boring grandpa he was not!!
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Lynn Higginbotham.
Charles is survived by his wife, Linda Adams Higginbotham; sons, Neal Higginbotham, Phil (Rachel) Higginbotham, and Josh Higginbotham; grandchildren, Britany, Micah, Wess, and Caleb Higginbotham, and AnneMarie Chisum; brother, Jeff Higginbotham; and sister, Frances (Tracy) Cross. There are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends that have been “family” all their lives.
A Graveside service will be at 1:30pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Gatlin Cemetery with Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made Huntsville Hospital NICU.
