Claudia Looney Davis, 79, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. She was born and raised in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State, then went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from A&M University. She enjoyed book clubs, bridge club and traveling. She was a member of Les Joyeuses, Huntsville Museum of Art Guild, Daughters of the American Revolution, Junior League of Huntsville, First United Methodist Church and choir, member of Alpha Chi Omega, Grace Club Auxiliary, and Stephens Ministry.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James Earl Davis, Jr.; daughter, Leanne McMurray (Bradley) of Huntsville, AL; son, James Earl Davis III (Claire) of Franklin, TN; brother, Robert Marshall Looney (Vicki) of Spokane, WA; and grandchildren, Keeley Malone McMurray, Connor David McMurray, Leyla Catherine Davis and Samuel James Davis. She was predeceased by her parents, William Marshall Looney and Ann Joiner Looney.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 15th at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Ken Turvey Music Fund.
