Mrs. Mary Josephine Beadenkopf  Mrs. Mary Josephine Beadenkopf, age 83, of Canton, Georgia formerly of the West Point Community in Morgan County, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Georgia.
Mrs. Beadenkopf was born on July 4, 1937 in Samson, Alabama to the late James Aplin and Ruth Alford Aplin. She was married to Mr. James William Beadenkopf who passed away on May 20, 2019. Mr. & Mrs. Beadenkopf moved to Huntsville in 1996 after Mr. Beadenkopf retired from the U.S. Army. Mary went to work at Redstone Arsenal in the Civilian Personnel Department on the Arsenal as a Personnel Manager where she worked for 18 years until retirement in 2014. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and traveling with her husband James.
Mrs. Beadenkopf is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Sharon Dietz & Tony, Joyce Potter & Tom; grandchildren, Rebecca Shelton Cozza , Mary Colleen Cowan; great grandchildren, Sharon Ansley Catoe, Alexis MadeleineCozza, Ava Josephine Cozza, Robert Michael Cozza, Jr.; sister, Linda (Joe) Robinson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Ethelyne Crews; brother, Ray Aplin.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Bro. Bryan C. Mosely, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
