Peggy Tank Papatheodorou, 72, of Florence, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at her residence.
A service of remembrance will be Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Killen Church of Christ, with Brother Stan Dean officiating. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, James E. Tank Jr. and Kathleen Daniel Tank; and sister, Wanda Tank McGee.
She is survived by her sons, John Sheppard and wife, Jan, and Matthew Sheppard; daughter, Angela Payne; sister, Linda Peden and husband, Paul; brothers, Earl Tank and wife, Marie, and Jerry Tank and wife, Sharon; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special friend, Janice Springer; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of the Shoals, 115 Fairground Road, Florence, AL 35630.
