Graveside Services for Barbara Ann Clifton, age 77 of Ashland, will be Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Clay County Memory Gardens with Bro. John Luckie and Chaplain Patrick Gilbert officiating.
Mrs. Clifton passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her home. Born in Bemiston, Alabama but a lifelong resident of Clay County, she worked as a Dietician at the Clay County Hospital for a number of years. Mrs. Clifton enjoyed crocheting, doing word search books and puzzles, cooking for her family, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jesus was always placed first in her life, and her family was a very close second. She was always listening to Gospel music, and attending her church, Pleasant Hill Methodist Protestant Bible Church, in which she was a member.
Mrs. Clifton is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary Clifton of Ashland; her daughter: Christy Parrozzo (Michael) of Birmingham; her Bonus Daughter: Shannon Johnson (Jonathan) of Millerville; one grandson: Joseph Parrozzo of Birmingham; two bonus Grandchildren: Cassi Diamond and Chyan Johnson, both of Millerville; one brother: Donald Horn (Thelma) of Adamsville; plus extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Ancil Horn and Nettie Christine Davidson Horn, and one daughter: Teresa Clifton.
Pallbearers are Tim Gordon, Gene Luckie, Troy Mattox, Kenneth Forbes, Andrew Cline, and Austin Cline.
Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Encompass and Home Health Hospice Groups.
