Patricia Ivy Slupe Holter Patricia Ivy Slupe Holter, 62, of Huntsville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday. Patty, a loving mother, was an active and beloved member of her community, especially the Dwelling Place church.

Patty was born in Butler, PA and raised in Huntsville, AL with her younger brothers. She enjoyed a career as a flight attendant living in Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC and Temecula, CA before settling in Marietta, GA for several years. Patty returned to Huntsville to provide love and support to her father during his final days and continued to live and care for her mother afterwards. Patty was known for her warm and generous spirit. She always put others before herself.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Frank Lester Slupe, Jr. She is survived by her children, Lisa Holter of Austin, TX, and Christopher Holter and Ross Holter both of Atlanta, GA; mother, Carole Haug Slupe of Huntsville; brothers, Frank III (Denise) of Vestavia, AL and Bob (Karen) of Atlanta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24th at the Dwelling Place, 2550 Redstone Rd., Huntsville, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. A private graveside service will be held.
