Mrs. Rona Surratt, age 85 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Surratt was born April 26, 1935, in Stephenville, New Finland, to the late Bernerd and Ethel Elizaybeth Parsons. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Gaylord Q. Surratt. She was also preceded in death by her son, Marty Surratt, and a number of brothers and sisters.
There will be a memorial service announced at a time.
Survivors include one daughter, Becky (Mose Lee) Sudduth; two grandchildren, Ashley and Jordan Sudduth; two brothers, Jack (Marilyn) Parsons and Michael Parsons; one sister, Margaret Kock; and a number of nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
