Ethel Louise Flurry, age 86, of Bellevue, ID passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center in Ketchum, ID. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Love Joy Cemetery. Bro. James Gillentine to officiate.
Ethel was born on September 3, 1933 in Beaverton, AL to the late Leroy Roy Sizemore and the late Eula Pauline Stockman. She attended Sulligent Schools. Ethel was born in Beaverton, AL, but has lived in Hailey, Idaho for several years. She was previously employed at Gattman Sportswear, a garment factory in Georgia, and as a clerk in a family business in Milan, GA. Ethel also worked in the sewing department of a variety store and worked in housekeeping in private homes and local resorts in Idaho as well as serving a Nanny. She enjoyed playing guitar, singing Gospel music, cooking, collecting cook books, reading, and taking road trips. Ethel also loved chocolate and Mexican food. Her favorite color was green. She loved all her family and church. Ethel was a member of Wood River Assembly of God, “The Rock Church”.
