Deborah Jean Morris Henley, age 65 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born on June 29, 1954 to the late Walter and Clara (Stubblefield) Morris. Debbie had been employed as a cook at Franklin County High School and Delmet. She was dedicated to her family and was a devoted NaNa to her grandchildren. Debbie will be remembered by her family and friends for her loving and generous nature. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha McBee, Ola Mae “Sissy” Pack, and Louise Wynne; and brother, Jimmy “Pod” Morris. Debbie is survived by her loving sons, Loren (Stacey) Henley, Randal Henley, and Tony Henley; grandchildren, Gage Roberts, Bailey McCreary, Kailee McCreary, Jayleigh McCreary Henley, Leah Henley, Maici Lu Henley, and Carly Henley; great-granddaughter, Marlee Roberts; sisters, Ann (Darrel) Neal of Sherwood, Polly (Warney) Guess of Anderson, TN, and Faye (Jerry) Guess of Stevenson, Alabama; brothers, Buddy (Nancy) Morris of Stevenson, Alabama, and Lee (Ruby) Morris of Ringgold, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro.
