Lois Jean Armstrong, age 83 of Huntland, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County on August 27, 1936 to the late Joseph Henry and Villa Weaver (Spencer) Stewart. Lois was a dedicated homemaker and devoted member of Riva Lake Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her siblings, J.D. Spencer, J.F. Spencer, Tommy Spencer, Jewel Cyree, Louise Cunningham, and Josephine Cleek. She is survived by her loving sons, Timothy G. Armstrong of Winchester, and Allen (Donna) Armstrong of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Justin Armstrong, Emily Armstrong, Ben Armstrong, and Hannah Armstrong; and sister, Irene Clark of Winchester.
