Larry W. Hunter, 72, of Town Creek, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at Vanderbilt Hospital. Visitation will be from 1:30 till 3 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Hillard Ayers officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.
Larry was a veteran of the Army serving in Vietnam and a member of Wolf Springs Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending his days mowing the grass and playing with his great-grandbabies.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Brenda Hunter; children, Danna Russell (Jon), Samantha Hunter and Cindy Weeks; grandchildren, Kaylab Hairrell (Brooklyn), Stormy Parker (Cody), Angel Parker (Caleb), Deanie Hairrell, Elijah Weeks, Isaac Weeks, Ameera and Jonah Khatib; great grandchildren, Jayden, Cash, Levi, and Hunter; brother, Jesse Hunter (Tammy); sister, Shelia Moffitt (Ronnie); several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by an infant son, parents, Nolen and Ruthie Hunter; brothers, Jerry Hunter, Roger Hunter, and Johnny Paul Hunter.
Pallbearers will be Kaylab Hairrell, Tommy Hunter, Darrell Hunter, Clint Hunter, Josh Eguia, and LeBron Oats.
