Loyd Clem 90, of Elkmont,AL died Friday, February 28, 2020 at Athens Health and Rehabilitation, Athens, Alabama.
Born Friday, March 29, 1929 in Elkmont, AL, he was the son of Eddie Coble and Mary Clem. Loyd lived his whole life in Elkmont and was a member of the New Garden Pentacostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Clem Jackson; and daughter-in-law, Janice Clem.
Loyd is survived by his wife, Mary Rachel Clem, Elkmont, AL; son, Dural Clem, Calera, AL; granddaughters, Erica (Don) Lane, Winchester, TN, and Christy Kearley, Calera, AL; great granchildren, Preston (Bethney) Lane, Max Kearley, David Kearley, and Mason Jackson; great-great grandchildren, Jasper Lane, Sawyer Lane, and Bryce Lane.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 1:30 PM with Bro. James Swindle and Bro. Buddy Payne officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
