On February 19, 20202 Rebecca Faith (Tackett) Underwood, age 55, of Jasper, AL, went home to meet with Jesus in Heaven. After a long time of suffering, she suffers no more but rejoices and praises with her Lord and Savior.
She joins in her celebration with her grandparents, Kermit and Olive Tackett and Raymond and Irene Mizer.
She is survived by her Parents-Robert and Carolyn Tackett, Sr. of Goodsprings, AL; Brothers-Robert Tackett, Jr. of Jasper, AL, Ram Tackett (Jill) of Houston, TX and Reuben Tackett (Beth) of Cordova; Sister-Regina Johanns (Chris) of Dallas, TX.
She is also survived by her husband of nearly 35 years-Barry J. Underwood of Jasper, AL; Sons-B.J. Underwood (Lindsey) of Alabaster, AL and Charley Underwood (Stefani) of Jasper, AL; Daughters-Meghan Underwood of Jasper, AL and Cristal Jent (Sidney) of Townley, AL; Grandchildren-Lexi Anderson, Aiden Anderson, Brailey Underwood, Shelby Jent and Ellie Jent; A large host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be held February 23, 2020 at Goodsprings Missionary Baptist Church in Goodsprings, AL at 2:00 p.m. Brother Charles Underwood will lead the service with Lindsey Underwood providing the music. There will be no graveside service.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim Underwood, Robert Tackett, Jr., Ram Tackett, Reuben Tackett, Zachary Bernstein and Aiden Anderson.
